Over the past three days 14-16 July 2026, the SA Legislative Sector hosted a Masterclass in International Relations and Parliamentary Diplomacy programme delivered by Dr Etiya-Okon from WITS. The Speaker of the Mpumalanga Legislatures, Ms M Masilela MPL, was amongst the many parliamentarians and personnel from National Parliament and various Provincial Legislatures in attendance.
The intensive programme was characterised by vibrant engagements on various topics related to International Relations and has been highly informative. It exposed participants to the importance of global cooperation among individual sovereign states and emphasised the key role of South Africa as a global player in Africa and the world.
