Delegates from across African Parliaments will converge at the 4th Development Seminar of the Society of Clerks (SoCATT) Africa Region in Livingstone, Zambia from 6-9 June 2019 aimed at learning and sharing experiences in order to contribute to development and strengthening of their parliaments.
Discussions under the theme “Supporting Parliamentarians to provide effective oversight of National Development Plans/Strategies in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2063” will focus on issues of implementation monitoring, the role of civil society and non-state actors, capacitating parliamentary administrators and strengthening the visibility of parliaments in Africa.
